Today, ARCH Language Network specializes in over 50 world languages for on-site interpreting. We also support over 100 languages for over-the-phone interpretation and translation services.  Our interpreters, translators, and transcriptions work in collaboration with hospitals, clinics, counties, schools, social service agencies and legal services in the Twin Cities regions as well as throughout Minnesota. While our services and language catalog have expanded, we have remained steadfast in our founding mission - " To provide excellent and culturally competent interpreting and translation services to organizations that serve Limited English speaking clients.

INTERPRETER PORTAL

Who are our interpreters and translators.

Our interpreters work in settings such as schools, hospitals, clinics, counties, corporations, and State municipals. Many of our translators and video interpreters work remotely.  To ensure we meet the supply and demands of our customers and their Limited English speaking clients, our Interpreter Services Department conducts daily recruiting and training courses.

Qualifications:

  • Must demonstrate fluency in English and one or more target languages.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Pass a terminology test with at least 80% fluency.
  • Effective time management.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Medical or legal interpreter training preferred.
  • Awareness of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
  • Completed Immunization Records
  • Proof of citizenship or valid work permit.
  • Reliable transportation.

To request an interpreter through our online scheduling portal, submit a quick online request for an interpreter in any of our supported languages.

If your request is for an assignment less than 48 hours, please do not submit your request through the Online Scheduling Portal and contact our Call Center at 651.789.7897, option 1.  For your convenience, our Call Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
